Registration Instructions

Dear Parade Participant,

Thank you for your interest in the Cambridge Santa Claus Parade. Santa arrives in Cambridge on Saturday November 15, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. on Hespeler Rd.

Once again Cambridge will be presenting a “Night Parade”. Just think of all the creative things you could do with colour, light and sound! We ask that all groups prepare a float that is illuminated. Your float will be judged, so be as festive as possible.

We ask that you inform us of your intent to participate in this year’s parade by contacting santafloats@hotmail.com and a registration package can be faxed or e-mailed to you. You will receive your final placement instructions approximately 2 weeks before the parade and should share this information with all your participants.

It is with great regret that we inform all participants that due to funding limitations and escalating costs, there will be a $50.00/unit fee for non-profit groups and $100.00/unit for businesses payable to the Cambridge Santa Claus Parade upon registration. This is to help off-set the costs of organizing a parade of this size. We accept cheques, money orders, and cash. Please do not send cash by mail.

Absolutely no entries will be accepted after October 13, 2008 in order to prepare and distribute the parade line-up. Receipt of a complete registration does not guarantee participation, as there are a limited number of entries allowed. Participation is on a first come first served basis. Act now to avoid disappointment.
